Sam HubballThe car was advertised on Auto trader, they had the price listed as "Above average" which I disagreed with as I couldn't find another with similar mileage and year as the one listed.
The screen price is fixed which, as a man, is frustrating because even getting £100 off "for fuel" feels like a little win.
I had my own finance organised, but got the feeling that is what they would like to organise as it's most profitable (can't argue with that).
The salesperson was very professional but it was difficult to build a rapport with. (That's probably my sense of humour rather than a fault of her.)
They serviced the car and gave it a fresh MOT on the day the deal was agreed and the car was picked up 4 days later, after a full valet.
You agree the deal before taking the car for a short test drive. I'd rather take it for a test drive and see if there's anything that shows up that you can negotiate on, but the car drove faultlessly anyway.
They do not accept credit cards which could be problematic for some people.
There was a very thoughtful courtesy box, including some chocolates and bottle of champagne. Not bad for a car that cost less than £10k
I would recommend Motorline Direct to friends and family overall. Hopefully I will have no trouble with my new car and won't need to contact them to see if the 3 months free warranty is any good!
